Thanks to the church for inviting me and others experienced in the criminal justice field to be part of an opportunity to educate those in our community about the criminal justice system and to listen to their concerns and answer their questions. There was a judge, probation officers, police officers, sheriffs and my chief deputy paticipating. So the spectrum was covered. I encourage all of our faith communities and civic organizations to plan such events, and as I have over the years, pledge my support and that of my office.
