After work, I got to our monthly FOP meeting to see the 14 students we selected to receive $1,000.00 scholarships each! Great to see these fine young people and their parents. This is the most our lodge has ever been able to award. We also voted our former member Bob McDonnell an honorary lifetime membership and discussed the upcoming national FOP convention which I have been asked to attend as part of a team trying to get the 2013 national convention to Va. Beach.
