I started yesterday seeing Donna and my WWII vet dad off at 5:30 a.m. in Virginia Beach with a bus full on the “Honor Flights” to the WWII monument in DC. They were met by Bob Dole and had a great day. Then we were onto Richmond for the state convention, joining VB electeds Sal Iaquinto, John Atkinson, Bill DeSteph and Glenn Davis. Best speech of the day, maybe of the year, was by a recent Virginia Tech grad who just became a U.S. citizen.
