Harvey Bryant attended the dedication ceremony for the Virginia Beach Law Enforcement Memorial on June 23, 2012 at 35th Street in Virginia Beach. Bryant made a donation to the memorial fund on behalf of the Virginia Beach Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office; therefore the Office is recognized on a plaque on the wall of the memorial. Three bronze officers on the memorial structure represent the Virginia Beach Police Department, the Sheriff’s Department and the state and federal agencies that protect the citizens of Virginia Beach. The names of fallen officers are inscribed on the granite base of the memorial. The memorial’s placement at the end of 35th Street and the Boardwalk allows for quiet reflection of the sacrifices made by officers who have died in the line of duty.
