Harvey Bryant donated $500 to the Virginia Beach Police Foundation through the former Chief of Police, A.M. “Jake” Jacocks, a current board member.  The foundation is seeking funding of $450,000 to build a memorial which will be displayed in Virginia Beach’s resort area.  The memorial will represent the Virginia Beach Police Department, the Sheriff’s Department and the state and federal agencies that protect the citizens of Virginia Beach. The names of fallen officers will be inscribed on the granite base of the memorial.
