Harvey was a guest on Freedom 1650 AM’s Steve Batton Morning Show on January 27th. As chief prosecutor in Virginia Beach, he provided his view of the recent Arizona shootings and how that case would be handled by his office had it occurred in here. Harvey explained the components of a crime that warrant charging capital murder, such as the killing of one or more people in the same incident. Had the Arizona shootings occurred in Virginia Beach, the Commonwealth’s Attorney would seek the death penalty for that defendant. Harvey also explained his views on current issues the legislature is considering, such as filling judgeships left by those who have retired and the demand for more Probation and Parole Officers. Steve invited Harvey to make a guest appearance on his show next week, which will be broadcasted live from the site of the filming of Extreme Home Makeover in Virginia Beach!
