“In addition to the charges highlighted above, the grand jury also returned indictments charging malicious wounding, grand larceny, 2nd degree murder, numerous burglary charges, credit card fraud, driving after having been declared a habitual offender, sexual assault and counterfeiting,” Bryant said. “Repeat offenders continue their crimes against society and display their disregard for the laws the rest of us obey. One simple example is that there were 5 charges of committing third offense petit larceny among today’s indictments. Two weeks from now, the grand jury will be presented with another similar array of offenses that are currently working their way through the court system,” Bryant said.
